Billymae Leaman, 85

Billymae Leaman, 85 years, of Angola, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Angola. Billymae was born August 20, 1931 in Montpelier, Indiana, daughter of the late William and Jean (Hutchison) Southard. She married James Roscoe Leaman on August 6, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2006. Billymae began her working career at General Electric in Fort Wayne, working in the office. She later was an accountant for The Hamilton Bank in Hamilton, Indiana. Billymae loved to volunteer at her church in Avon Park, Florida, Union Congregational Church. She spent copious amounts of time reading the Bible and was also a former golfer.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim, daughter, Shelley Leaman and son, Jik Leaman, Billymae is survived by three grandchildren, Stephanie (Jake) Noyes of Angola, James (Rachael) Leaman of Angola and Sarah Leaman of Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Noyes, Keilynn, KayCee and Jesse Leaman.

There will be no visitation or services. Private inurnment will take place in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton, Indiana 46742.
