Dale S. Dirrim, 84

Dale S. Dirrim, age 84, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday morning, September 11, 2018 at his home. Dale worked at Tokheim Corporation retiring with more than 30 years of service and he also farmed. He served in the US Air Force from July 1, 1952 to June 30 1956. He was a former member of the VFW, American Legion and the Hamilton Fish and Game Club. Dale enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Dale S. Dirrim was born on July 13, 1934, in Hamilton, the son of Carrol and Clela (Burkhart) Dirrim. He was a loving and faithful husband to Carol (Rinard) Dirrim for 65 years before she preceded him in death. They were married on August 17, 1953.

Dale is survived by four sons, Terry (Lisa) Dirrim, Bruce (Brenda) Dirrim and Kevin Dirrim, all of Hamilton and James (Jenny) Dirrim, of Montpelier; daughter, Debra (Ron) Fuller, of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grand children and a great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Archie Duane Dirrim and Carrol Dean Dirrim and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio. Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home, with Pastor J. Mark Holbrook officiating. Interment will be in Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton with graveside military rites provided by the American Legion.

Memorials are requested to Cancer Services of Fort Wayne or Cameron Memorial Hospice.
