Georgia Mae Perkins-Peters, 73

Georgia Mae Perkins-Peters, age 73, of Bryan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 22, 2018, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan. Prior to her retirement she had been a beautician for over 40 years and the original owner of Woodstock West Salon in Bryan.

Georgia was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 12, 1945, the daughter of Theron R. and Berneta (Smith) Perkins. Surviving are her children, Shelly (James) Long of Montpelier, Curt (Angela) Lyons of Sylvania, Tamara (Britton) Poynter of Bryan; grandchildren, Khrysta (Anthony) Coleman, Isaiah L. Mendez, Kyle (Amanda) Long, Cecelia Lyons, Chloe Lyons, Cadin Jaessing, Carley Lyons, Blake Jaessing, Gavin Jaessing; and great-grandchildren, Paxtyn Coleman and Beckett Coleman. She is also survived by her brother, Ed (Mariel) Perkins of Bryan, and sister, Marlene Eagle of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; and step-mother, Marguerite (Healy) Perkins; nephew, Michael Perkins; and great-grandson, Emersyn Coleman.

The family is following Georgia’s wishes and all funeral services will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to Wigs for Kids, 24231 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145, or the Williams County Humane Society.
