Lester Jr. Cliffton, 82

Lester Jr. Cliffton, age 82, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 10:25 A.M. on Monday, October 9, 2017, in Parkview Randalia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient after a brief illness. Mr. Cliffton had been employed as a forklift driver for Universal Tool in Butler, Indiana, retiring with forty-four years of service. He was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed reading and watching TV and attended Butler Nazarene Church.

Lester Jr. Cliffton was born on June 2, 1935, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of John Lester and Ilo (Price) Clifton. He married his wife of fifty-three years, Ella Jo Brown, on August 8, 1964, in Edgerton, and she survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Tim (Pamela) Cliffton, of Edgerton; three grandchildren, Tracy (Bo) Aldrich, Stacy (Devin) Hake, and Chad (Tacia) Livensparger, all of Edon, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren, Gunner, Avery and Wynter Aldrich, Grady and Grant Hake, and Brantley and Kailey Livensparger; and his siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Cliffton, of Montpelier, Ohio, Jim (Doleen) Cliffton, Walter Cliffton and Nancy (Jerry) Mocherman, all of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Cliffton.

A grave side service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at Eddy Cemetery, near Hamilton, Indiana, with Pastor Byron Adams officiating.
