Margaret Anne Gunder, 79

Margaret Anne Gunder, 79, of Waldron, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian, Michigan. She was born on September 25, 1937 in Waldron to Leon W. and Geraldine E. (Robison) Cox. Margaret graduated from Waldron High School in 1955.

She retired from Kustom Fit in Pioneer, Ohio after 22 ½ years of working as a seamstress. Margaret previously attended Life Line Baptist Church in Pioneer. She was known by many in the community for her piano playing abilities.

Margaret is survived by five children Kevin (Gloria) Burnett of Waldron, MI, Monica (Brent) Mercer of Devil’s Lake, MI, James Burnett of Louisville, KY, Debra (Dan) Brown of Alvordton, OH, and two sisters, Marilyn Frank of Bryan and Audrey (Richard) Andrews of Waldron, MI; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, second husband Maurice Shadel, third husband James Gunder, and two daughters, Paula Brandeberry and Melody Burnett.

Margaret will be laid to rest at Waldron Cemetery on August 15, 2017 at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenawee Medical Care Facility of Adrian
