STRYKER CAT CASE UNDER INVESTIGATION

What happened to some cats in Stryker has yet to be determined, but complaints from residents there have led to a formal investigation.

The Bryan Times reports it all centers around charges that cats were gathered and disposed of in an inhumane manner.

The complaint involved a police department in Williams County, and may be referred to a special prosecutor. Criminal charges have not been filed. Williams County Humane officer Rodney Miller reportedly confirmed his office was involved in the investigation. He said the Humane Society has a euthanasia policy, but with strict control measures.

Details of the complaint, and who may be involved in it, have not yet been released publicly.
