Two men were arrested Tuesday stemming from theft from auto and suspicious person complaints

Two men were arrested Tuesday stemming from theft from auto and suspicious person complaints reported to the Defiance Police Department the day prior. Responding to a Monday morning theft from auto complaint in the 1000 block of Latty Street, and a related suspicious person complaint called in about two hours later in the 1100 block of Riverside Avenue, officers arrested 23 year old Damien Bremmer of Bryan, at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of South Clinton Street. Bremmer was charged with theft and criminal trespassing. Officers also arrested 27 year old Cody Johnson of Convoy for a probation violation. Both men were transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
