BARN FIRE IN FARMER TOWNSHIP

Flames destroyed a barn Mon­day night in Farmer Town­ship.

Fire­fight­ers were called out to the barn at 02706 Ohio 2 just before 9:30pm.

Fire crews from Edger­ton, Bryan, Antwerp, Hicksville, Ney-Washington Town­ship, Sher­wood, Delaware Town­ship and South Rich­land Town­ship all responded.

So far, no cause has been deter­mined, although fire inves­ti­ga­tors are look­ing into it.

The barn was owned by Tim Peters and was ruled a total loss. It was mostly empty at the time of the fire and val­ued at about $20,000.
