Boyer To Head Pettisville Schools

Former North Central Local Schools Superintendent, Ken Boyer will serve as the interim superintendent of Pettisville Local Schools for the upcoming school year. The Pettisville school board recently announced it would fill the superintendent vacancy with an interim superintendent for a year. On Monday, the board gave Boyer a one-year contract for the position, which was held by Dr. Stephen Switzer, who is retiring after 38 years as superintendent. Boyer will start Aug. 1. He worked at North Central Schools for 11 years…and retired in 2017 with 46 years in education, including 31 as a superintendent. Boyer also previously worked in the Millcreek-West Unity school district.
