Glenna Clark, 74

Glenna K. Clark, 74 years, of West Unity, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan.  Glenna was born May 10, 1939 near West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harvey Charles and Wynona May (Burch) Armbruster.  She was a 1957 graduate of Kunkle High School.  She married Maurice N.  Clark on December 14, 1958, at West Unity, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1999.   Glenna assisted her husband Maurice in operating the family business, Clark’s Fur House and the family farm.  She had also worked at the former Schlegel Manufacturing and Cares Home in West Unity.  She was a member of Living Hope Free Methodist Church, West Unity.  Glenna enjoyed reading, listening to country gospel music and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her three children, Terry (Marlene) Clark of West Unity, Vicki (Randy) Chappuis of Stryker and Jeff (Heather) Clark of West Unity; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark and her fiancé, Matt Priser, Amy Chappuis and Levi Chappuis; one brother, Charles (Peg) Armbruster of Lake Odessa, Michigan; one sister, Vonna Jean (Ted) Stoner of Winter Haven, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Irene R. Armbruster, Husband, Maurice and two sisters, Rosanna May Ashenfelter and Laurel Irene Armbruster

Visitation for Glenna K. Clark will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 with Pastors Nick Woodall and David Mathis officiating.  Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial tributes be made to the American Cancer Society or to WLMB Christian Television Station in her memory.
