Isabel Terheggen, 70

Isabel F. Terheggen (born May 9, 1950), passed away on September 4, 2020 at age 70. Preceded
in death by her parents, Irene (nee Wilke) and Milton Terheggen, her sister, Mary Jo Morris, and
her brother-in-law, Richard J. McCafferty. Survived by her sisters, Irene McCafferty and Tracy
Montagu, and her nieces, Maura McCafferty and Courtney Montagu-Miller (Scottie). Known
for her successful career, generosity, passion for card-playing, assertiveness, and doting on her
nieces. Notorious for speaking her mind regardless of consequences, teasing her nieces (and
pretty much everybody she loved), her sarcastic sense of humor, and who could forget her Arthur
Murray ballroom dancing trophy? We hope that Isabel is finally resting at peace in her flying
recliner after a life of physical/emotional pain and her recent struggle with end-stage chronic
kidney disease. We would like to thank Cypress Hospice and the caregivers at Generations
Senior Living (Strongsville) for their patience and kindness during the last days of Isabel’s life.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund (kidneyfund.org) in Isabel’s name.
