Katie Carper, 53

Katie Marie Carper, age 53, of Montgomery, Michigan, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in her home. She was a 1980 graduate of Angola, Indiana High School and for many years tended bar at Skip’s in Angola. She last was employed as a truck driver for several area trucking firms with twelve years of experience.

Katie Marie Carper was born on October 6, 1960, in Hudson, Michigan, the daughter of Charles Albert and Laura June (Bricker) Jermeay. Survivors include her mother June Jermeay, of Edon, Ohio, one sister, Wynee Jermeay, of Edon and a half sister, Katherine Lee McGurgan. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, William Jermeay and one sister, Elsie Jermneay.

Private grave side service will be held in the Columbia, Ohio Cemetery at a later date.
