New Java Joint In Edgerton

Construction is approved for a new business coming to Edgerton, soon. Officials say plans to demolish a dilapidated house and a small building on the north side of Vine Street, just west of Ohio 49 are set, to make way for a new locally owned coffee shop, slated to be called the Cup O’ Joy Coffee Barn. The 60 by 30 foot building will be styled as a barn, they say. Edgerton’s Shea and Stephanie Walkup, the new owners, say construction will get underway “very soon”…it’s expected to be completed by next fall.
