NORTH CENTRAL FINANCES LOOK GOOD

Some good news Monday for the North Central Board of Education regarding district finances.

The five-year forecast was presented and shows revenues exceeding expenditures for the coming four years, with deficit spending forecast in the fifth year, but with a carryover balance.

School officials say it’s all because personnel costs were down due to retirements. Also, money from the state

was up approximately $90,000 this year and is expected to increase by $100,000 next year.
