Steven Bradner, 59

Steven Bradner, age 59, of Wauseon died late Friday May 10, 2013 at the Fulton county Health Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Bradner was employed by B&B Molding in Napoleon. He also worked for TLC Child Care in Wauseon.

Mr. Bradner was born in Fostoria, Ohio on May 22, 1953 the son of the late Donald and the late Mildred (Wing) Bradner. On August 8, 1998 he married Vanessa Hamilton and she survives. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon where he had been a Chi Rho Advisor, and active with their mission group having gone on several mission trips. He enjoyed woodworking, making toys for his grandchildren and the children at TLC. One of his great loves was also playing Santa Claus every year for TLC Child Care and other children. Mr. Bradner loved to travel and eat and was also a big Star Trek fan. Prior to working for B&B Molding he had been a truck driver for Systems and Maverick and had also worked for Campbells in Napoleon.

Surviving besides his wife, Vanessa are children; Steven Bradner, II, Bill Bradner, and Christa Troyer, two step-children; Rachel (Matt) Battaglia and T.J. (Sarah) Rupp, seven grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings; Duane (Alice) Bradner of Erlanger, KY, and Earlene (Chad) Shock of Columbus, IN. Preceding him in death besides his parents was sister, Linda.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Wauseon with Pastor Mitch Maxted and Pastor Mary Jo Bray officiating. Interment will be in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the church in Tuesday from 2:00-8:00pm.
